Event Description:
This year's Fall Campout for the most part will be just that, a campout, a place to enjoy yourself & run your dogs. We have reserved the campgrounds for just members of the PSDC. The campgrounds will be officially closed to all other campers; so that means no one will complain about the dogs. So, bring your RV or tent, rent a rustic cabin or a 36' trailer, but join the fun. Also available at the campgrounds: 35 acre stocked lake for the fisherman in the group, Clean Restrooms & Showers, 18 hole mini golf, Arcade & billiards, volleyball, basketball, & tennis court, boat rentals, pedal kart rentals, Sanitary Service & Station, Cable TV, Store.
We have permission to use Gigs, Bicycles, & 4 wheelers (please do not misuse the 4 wheeler privilege).

Featured Guest Speaker Nancy Molburg (Team & Trail):
Our guest speaker will be Nancy Molburg, presenting "2007 Alaskan Adventures", sponsored by Team & Trail Magazine
Photos and personal stories from Team & Trail photojournalist Nancy Molburg on her 2007 trip to Alaska. Her talk will include photos from the 2007 Iditarod ceremonial start in Anchorage, the re-start in Willow, and the finish line in Nome. The presentation will also include photos and Mol burg's impressions of the 2007 North American Limited Championship and the Open North American Championship in Fairbanks.

There is no restriction for participation in the event. Club membership can be established or renewed at or prior to the event.

PSDC will charge fees for breakfast, dinner and the speaker as shown below. Meals and speaker must require pre-registration.
Sorry, but we cannot accept foreign currency. All fees must be paid in U.S. dollars.

Food:
Friday dinner and Saturday and Sunday lunch will be on your own.
Saturday and Sunday Breakfast:
Breakfast will be Pancakes (all you can eat), Sausage, Orange Juice and Coffee. Location will be the Snack Shack & Cindy's Pavilion. Breakfast will be prepared by Christina Gates.
Saturday Dinner:
Dinner will be Roast Beef, Scalloped Potatoes, Pasta Veggie dish, Vegetables, & Desert. Bring your own Beverage. Location will be Cindy's Pavilion.
Auction:
Please bring new sled dog related items to be donated for the silent auction.
Vendors:
We have sent letters to vendors, if you know of anyone with sled dog related items that is a vendor and would be interested in coming please have them contact one of the organizers.
Onsite Lodging:
When calling the campgrounds be sure to tell them you are with the Pennsylvania Sled Dog Club. If renting a rustic cabin you need to bring linens, towel, pillows, cooking utensils, pots & pans etc. If renting a trailer you need to bring linens, towels. NO DOGS ARE ALLOWED IN ANY OF THE RENTALS.

To use your GPS or electronic instruments to find the way for you enter the coordinates: 42º39'5.29"N, 75º11'49.48"W which is the same as 42.6515N, -75.1971E.
Albany Area: I-90 West to Exit 25A, I-88 Exit 13, (Oneonta exit) Rt 23 West for 11 miles to Morris, turn right onto Rt 51 North for 10 miles. Turn left at Yogi Bear sign (Co Rt 17) & go 1 mile.
New York City Areas: NYS Thruway to Exit 16. State Rt 17 West (Future I-86) to Rt 8 North (Exit 84 Deposit), Rt 8 North into New Berlin, turn Right at light onto State Rt 80 East, approx 5 miles, at Yogi Bear sign turn right onto County Rt 17 approx. 5 miles, campgrounds on left.
Utica & Syracuse Areas: US 20 East to State Rt 8 South into New Berlin at light turn left onto State Rt 80 East, approx 5 at Yogi Bear sign miles turn right on Co Rt 17, approx 5 miles campgrounds on left.
Pennsylvania Area: Route 81 North to Binghamton, take I-88 east, take the Sidney exit, NYS Rt 8 North into New Berlin, NY at the main four corner (only right light) in New Berlin turn right onto, Rt 80 East about 4-5 miles (watch for the Yogi Bear sign) turn right onto Co Rt 17 take Ct Rt 17 right to the campgrounds which will be on your left.
