January 8, 2008: Due to the large amount of RAIN we received yesterday, the race site at Whites Bogs is essentially under water, so it is necessary to change to our alternate site at "Mt. Misery" which is only a couple of miles from the original site. Trails are hard packed dirt park roads / sand fire trails through the woods. No head on passing.

Event Description:
The Pennsylvania Sled Dog Club and Jersey Sands Sled Dog Racing Association are hosting an ISDRA sanctioned dryland race at the White Bogs section of Brendan T. Bryne State Forest in the pine barrens of South Jersey. www.whitesbog.org. This race is also sponsored by Greiner-Hahn Dog Powered Vehicles.
Entry Eligibility Restrictions, Limitations and Requirements:
To race in this event you must be a PSDC and/or a JSSDRA member. If you are not a member of either club, you may enter the club of your choice. See either club's website for a member application and send it in with your entry. OR for this event we are offering a Special Dual Club Membership (see attached) for a flat fee of $20.00. This will enable you to race at this event and other upcoming PSDC events for this race season until June 1, 2009. This special membership will only be offered for this race. If you would like to take us up on this offer, please send in this application with your entry. Membership forms will also be available at the race.
Purebred teams will need to provide purebred documentation if a dog is in question. American Kennel Club and Canadian Kennel Club documents will be accepted.

The 4 and 6 dog Gig classes will be ISDRA sanctioned.

From Whites Bogs:
Continue on Rt 530 East and turn right onto Rt 70 West. Pass the sign for Country Lakes - make the next left at sign for Mt. Misery and follows arrows about 4 miles into forest to race site. ( If arrows are not set-up yet, keep to the right at every fork in the road. Stay on the paved road.)
From NJ Turnpike:
Exit 7 to Route 206 South to Route 70 East. Continue on 70 east 1.6 miles past 70-72 circle. Turn right at the light onto Forest Avenue. Follow the road (approx 3 miles) until you reach a 4 way intercection with a dirt road straight ahead and turn right - keeping on the paved road. Follow this road approx 1 1/2 miles to the race site.
From I-295S:
Exit 40 to Rt 38 East towards Mt. Holly. Turn Right onto Rt 206 South and continue as above.
From GS Parkway:
Take exit for Rt. 70 West. Park entrance is on Rt. 70 about 8 miles west of Rt. 70-539 intersection. (Exxon station on corner) Pass the sign for Country Lakes- make the next left at sign for Mt. Misery and follow arrows about 4 miles into forest to race site. ( If the arrows are not set-up yet, keep to the right at every fork in the road. Stay on the paved road .)
